In 1996, Phuc Tran and Loan Tran established a paddy drying and milling operation on a rented block of land in Thoi Lai, Can Tho - in the heart of Vietnam's most productive rice region.
They started small, with a tight team and a focus on doing the work well for the farmers, traders, and partners who relied on them.
Over the following two decades, that focus built something substantial - a six-province supply network, a fully integrated processing facility, and a reputation that grew through delivery rather than promotion. When Phuc passed away, Loan led the business forward without missing a step. Quality held. The team grew. And the business kept moving.
She did not do so alone. The name Phuoc Hung reflects something intentional - a business built with the next generation in mind. Hung Tran brought deep expertise in agricultural technology and business acumen that shaped the operation into what it is today.
Every major investment, from the drying towers, the milling upgrades to the precision colour-sorting technology, was made with engineering discipline and a clear understanding of what the industry demands.
By the time Phuoc Hung entered international markets directly in 2021, the foundation was already well established. For years prior, the business had been supplying export-quality rice to established exporters.
The decision to export directly was not a leap into the unknown. It was a natural next step, backed by 25 years of supply relationships, a fully integrated processing facility, and the operational discipline that buyers across the Philippines, China, Africa, Europe, and Australia rely on today.
Taking the business international was a deliberate step and so was building the team to lead it.

With a background in finance, accounting, and international business, she brings commercial rigour to every customer relationship, understanding the market as clearly as the product behind it. She is your first point of contact for new enquiries, specifications, pricing, and samples.

Uyen comes from a professional background in rice export administration, with extensive experience across documentation, compliance, and international shipment management. She leads the export operations team, ensuring every order is executed with the precision and reliability that international trade demands.
